The last time I ate at a restaurant was 100 days ago.

The restaurant ostensibly had a customer limit; technically, you weren’t supposed to be served if they were over capacity. I believe the standard is some number of people per square footage of store area. But no one was keeping track and the place was definitely over its listed capacity.

On some level, it’s refreshingly honest. The restaurant’s choice is to either die unemployed because you don’t have money, or die employed because everyone’s out there eating brunch and spreading the coronavirus. Life is cheap, so why not get out there and make some money?
